BALANCED BODIES WELLNESS
March 15th, 2018.
I’ve been where you are.
I’ve “dieted” for years. I’ve binged. I’ve done fasted cardio the next morning because I felt guilty and I needed to “work it off”
The difference between then me and now me… Is happiness. And about 1000 extra calories a day.
I can enjoy life now. I can go on vacation and not have to eat only protein and veggies.
I can go to the family party and be totally fine eating just one piece of cake or one cookie.
If I indulge a little, I don’t freak out. I don’t feel guilty and let me tell you, it is GLORIOUS!
These two pictures are different for sure… They’re about a year apart and about an 8-pound difference.
But what I really see is two different people.
In the top picture, I see someone who has cravings constantly, who is riddled with guilt over food and sees the gym as a punishment or a way to offset what she eats. I see someone who hates her body, who doesn’t allow herself to go out and socialize and someone who is constantly thinking about food/ exercises and losing weight.
In the bottom picture, I see love. I see someone who is excited about making delicious meals for her family and herself because she loves cooking, I see someone who knows she has a sweet tooth and allows for a little chocolate every night because it makes her soul happy. I see someone who gets excited about exercising and being strong. Someone who listens to her body and rests when she needs to. Someone who loves life.
I’m much happier now, I’m not starving and I’m excited to see my body grow and change. I don’t spend countless hours doing cardio in a gym. In fact, I have done 0 cardio for the past year (down from 90 minutes fasted 6 days a week).
If you have tried to lose weight, I’m sure you can find yourself in at least one sentence in this blog.
If you’re miserable, If you’re frustrated.
Let me help you. Let me teach you.
It’s hard work for sure,
but I guarantee if you put in the work you will see the changes.
Lasting changes that are maintainable.
